Season 1 Announcement & Thanks

Good morning Writing Community! I wanted to sincerely thank you all for your support this season and for helping to make The Writing Wall Blog & Podcast a place for all the writers who have shared their great books, poetry, and stories here.

Every podcast has been really informative, insightful, touching, and fun. More importantly, none of this would have been possible without your submissions, your interest, or others spreading the word about The Writing Wall. Your support means more than words can say.

We've had some great guests this season, from all over the world and we hope to have many more for you during Season 2. We are currently booked through March for Season 2, but plan for it to run January until May 2021.

There are still a couple of Writer of the Week and Writing Corner Wednesday slots open, so if you are a poet, storyteller, or have a new book to promote, drop a message in our contact box with your name, e-mail address, and book details.

The final episode of Season One will air Saturday, October 24th at 6 pm EST. We will be featuring yet another indie-author as our final Writer of the Week interviewee. Please visit our social media handles below to keep up with all the latest announcements and information. While the show is on break we hope to host an Open Mic Night for the Writing Communities of Twitter and IG sometime mid-November.

Also, a big shout out to my team for all of their help and assistance this season. They spent hours proofreading, editing, designing, creatively thinking, formating, and handling all of the interview recordings. To my family, thank you for continuing to inspire, motivate, and support my writing. Of course, it wouldn't be a Going Local post without also saying how wonderful my local community here has been this past year. Thank you to everyone at Alleghany Writers, and all the great local artists who participated in being showcased on this season of the blog.

Please like, follow, and share the authors, writers, and poets featured here. These are some wonderful individuals doing amazing things. Keep sharing your stories, writing unique books, in unique ways, and remember to encourage one another. Because sometimes that is all the inspiration upcoming indies need to take that next step. Have a wonderful week, and I will see you all on social media!

Sincerely,

The Writing Wall Team
